All the activities related to Internship and corporate training programs are organized and carried out by Placement Cell. The entire scenario of internship and corporate training is divided into different segments including MOU with companies, finalizing the list of candidates who attend the corporate training, implementing the policies of the internship program, allocation of resources, fixing of modules on which trainees perform training, and finally evaluate the training program while issuing the certificate to the students that further helps them in getting jobs.
Internship and Corporate Training Facility
An internship is a period of training carried out by a student within a company or organization. At Sikkim Professional University, students are exposed to various Internship and Corporate Training Facilities. These programs enable them to get training during course study and sharpen their knowledge and skills, to prepare them for a job. SPU has collaborated with many top Companies, Organizations, MNC’s, and NGOs to provide Internships and Corporate Training Facilities to its students.
We provide on-site experience to our students through industry internships with corporate giants like Infosys, HCL, Aristo, Dell, Cipla, Reliance, ITC, and so on. At SPU, we expose students to real work environments and provide an opportunity to apply their learning experience in real work situations. Industry projects provide them knowledge of the latest trends of the corporate world and make them ready for the competitive and challenging real world. This phase of corporate training and internship programs facilitates students to complete their specific work projects and to get experience with live corporate modules that favor them in providing productive future employees.
The duration and schedule of the internship and corporate training differ from one-degree program to another. Full-term optional or compulsory internships, summer training, winter training, study tours, and skill development events and workshops are massively merged in the SPU curriculum.
